Pecan Pie Cobbler

Vegetarian!

Ingredients
1/2 cup Butter (cubed)
1 cup All-purpose flour
2 tablespoons All purpose flour
3/4 cup Sugar
3 teaspoons Baking powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt
2/3 cup 2% milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups Coarsely chopped pecans
1 cup Brown sugar
3/4 cup Brickle toffee bits
1 1/2 cups Boiling water
Ice cream for serving (optional)

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 and melt the butter in a 9 x 13 baking pan (should take about 3 to 5 minutes).
  2. Stir the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together, then stir in the milk and vanilla until the mixture is well combined.
  3. Remove the baking pan from the oven, then add the batter and sprinkle with pecans, toffee, and brown sugar.
  4. Slowly pour the boiling water over the top (do not stir), then bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
  5. Cool on a rack for 30 minutes, then serve warm with ice cream.
